AUTOSAR ECU Debugging Specialist
Role Summary:
We need a highly experienced AUTOSAR ECU specialist to support deep-level debugging of automotive ECUs. The candidate will work within a team of technical experts to analyse failing software builds, CPU reset issues, and low-level software faults. This role is critical for maintaining delivery velocity and requires strong hands-on debugging capability.

We need a highly experienced AUTOSAR ECU specialist to support deep-level debugging of automotive ECUs. The candidate will work within a team of technical experts to analyse failing software builds, CPU reset issues, and low-level software faults. This role is critical for maintaining delivery velocity and requires strong hands-on debugging capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and debug ECU issues including CPU resets, boot failures, and nonworking SW builds.
- Use hardware debuggers (e.g., Lauterbach/Trace32 or similar), or other testing tools e.g. CANoe to identify root causes.
- Propose and prototype fixes or workarounds to unblock software delivery.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to stabilise builds and support rapid issue resolution.
- Provide deep technical input on AUTOSAR Classic, ECU architecture, and embedded software behaviour.
Candidate Profile:
- Expert-level AUTOSAR Classic knowledge.
- Strong hands-on experience debugging ECUs using professional hardware debuggers.
- Proven ability to diagnose low-level embedded software issues.
- Solid understanding of ECU architecture, microcontrollers, and low-level software execution.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, issue-driven environment
