Quality Inspector
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Main Purpose of the Role
To verify and document the conformity of incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products against approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards. The Quality Inspector acts as the front line of product assurance, ensuring that only conforming product moves forward in the manufacturing process, and that evidence of inspection and traceability is maintained in accordance with ISO 9001 and Factory Production Control (FPC) requirements
Scope of the Role
The Quality Inspector operates across all stages of production, from goods-in through to final inspection and release. The role covers dimensional, visual, and functional inspection, defect identification, nonconformance recording, and maintenance of traceability documentation. The position provides factual inspection data and feedback to the Quality Manager, Continuous Improvement Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer to support root cause analysis, process improvement, and compliance verification.
Production Manager
Reports to: Head of Manufacturing
Main Purpose of the Role
To be responsible for leading our multi-functional production teams, to help ensure adherence to KPI's with regard to costs, efficiency, quality and customer expectations. To help plan, coordinate and control our production processes, whilst driving continuous improvements via a "right first time" approach. To develop strong relationships with the production teams, other departments and stakeholders.
Scope of the Role
The Production Manager is responsible for managing the overall performance and functionality of the Production Function.
Head of Internal Sales
Key Responsibilities
Lead, organise and balance workloads within the estimating/internal sales team to ensure strong performance and responsiveness.
Streamline processes to deliver efficiency gains and improve quote turnaround time.
Manage and drive improvement projects, including the implementation and optimisation of system upgrades (RealTime) to make order entry processes simpler and more accurate.
Motivate, coach and develop the team, building capability and engagement.
