Duties:
Compliance Consultant will work with an existing team of 4 members, reporting into the Process Delivery Manager.
The purpose of this role is to embed compliance under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for delivering the end-to-end process of Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), Pre-Action Protocols (PAPs) requests and other Information requests from third parties (e.g. solicitors, Jobcentre Plus, Department for Work and Pensions) and employees.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Global Purchasing Manager you will have overall responsibility for commodity lifecycle activities including Strategy support, Portfolio Management and End of Life Planning for aftermarket Commodities. Works closely with key stakeholders such as Pricing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Production Purchasing teams.
AMP have segmented their commodity groups and clearly understand their strategic commodities by individual Vendor: The role will have responsibility for multiple Vendors and 1,000s of part numbers.
Responsible for supplier relationships through supplier performance management process including portfolio management process and the Commercial issue resolution process, responsible for supplier partnerships as defined by the supplier segmentation tool
Responsible for End of Production Life strategy, planning and delivery
Lead internal stakeholder relationships across the Customer Service function including working closely with Pricing, Commercial and Supply Chain Management
Identifying cost change opportunities through resourcing, product rationalisation and packaging through an enterprise approach
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Sourcing:
Work closely with AMP Capacity Planner to ensure sufficient capacity and manage strategic capacity difficulties and changes
Cost Management:
Lead stakeholder alignment in relation to Total Cost of Ownership; piece cost, investment, Lead times, MOQ and inventory costs
Deliver material cost and distribution costs to target
Manage virtual spend budget to delivery EOL and other cost increases to target
Presentation to both Purchasing and IM governance reviews with relevant business cases
Supplier Management
Represent AMP within supplier relationship management approach.

You will monitor and maintain service availability, investigate incidents, manage infrastructure and support the continued improvement of secure, resilient systems. The role covers Linux and Windows servers, cloud services, networking, containers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, monitoring and automation.
Key responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, application and network incidents
Administer production Linux and Windows Server environments
Support AWS, VMware and containerised services
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
Maintain monitoring, alerting, backups, patching and security controls
Develop scripts and automation using Bash, Python or PowerShell
Complete root-cause analysis and implement lasting improvements
Produce clear technical documentation and operational reports
Essential experience:
Strong production Linux administration skills
Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration
Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs and firewalls
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerised services
Scripting or automation experience
A methodical, evidence-led approach to troubleshooting
Full UK driving licence
Experience with AWS, VMware, databases, Ansible, monitoring tools, Palo Alto firewalls, Veeam or security platforms would be advantageous.
