Group Head of Supply Chain

We are looking for an experienced Group Head of Supply Chain to join a global market-leading organisation specialising in innovative vehicle safety technology.

Reporting to the Group Operations Director and forming part of the Senior Operational Leadership Team, you will take overall responsibility for the development and execution of the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy, covering demand planning, procurement, imports, inventory management, logistics and warehousing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the end-to-end supply chain function across the business.
• Manage demand planning, procurement, inventory, logistics and warehousing operations.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategy in line with wider business and growth objectives.
• Manage sourcing and procurement projects throughout the full lifecycle.
• Optimise stock levels through effective forecasting, inventory and obsolescence management.
• Identify and deliver cost savings and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, reporting and service levels.
• Lead, coach and develop the Supply Chain team.
• Manage third-party suppliers and service providers against agreed standards and targets.
• Work cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency, customer service and the use of technology.
• Manage departmental budgets and ongoing costs.

About You

We are looking for an established supply chain leader with broad experience across the full end-to-end supply chain.

You should have:

• Proven experience leading international, multi-site supply chain operations.
• Strong experience across procurement, demand planning, inventory management, logistics and warehousing.
• Experience building, managing and developing high-performing procurement/supply chain teams.
• Strong commercial and financial awarFeness.
• Experience implementing KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and MRP systems.
• Experience with BC365, SQL reporting, Power BI/MS Fabric and EazyStock would be particularly beneficial.
• Experience delivering digital transformation or systems integration projects.
• A relevant professional qualification such as CIPS/MCIPS, Supply Chain/Procurement degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
