Join a team of next generation thinkers within Engineering Delivery, enabling the delivery of critical future engineering programmes, including development of cutting-edge technologies ranging from future autonomous driving capabilities through to delivering the future all-electric vehicle.
This role will support the delivery of such programmes, the projects and their interdependencies within the Engineering Delivery team, using an Agile operating model. Typically, this will involve the identification, planning and co-ordination of specific projects, working with Product Owners and Scrum Masters across different levels of the Agile organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of strategic business objectives.
- Work with the operational business to understand current processes and to document and prioritise requirements for changes and additions.
- Management of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, and risk and issue management.
- Proactively monitor Engineering health through agreed KPIs leading to the resolution of risks.
- Apply Agile project management principles to develop more effective and efficient ways of working.
- Manage stakeholders to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations.
- Undertake any other work as directed by the line manager in connection with the role.
What You'll Need - Essential
- Previous experience in a similar Project Management role with knowledge of Agile frameworks.
- Ability to manage risks and issues with strong analytical skills.
- Methodical and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to present complex data and issues to varied audiences.
- Experience resolving problems using structured approaches and tools.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and ability to learn tools such as Jira and Confluence.
