Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems engineering competence in the squad
- Ensure requirements are robust and meet quality standards through process and method development
- Gather end-user (system engineer) needs, wants and concerns
- Maintain understanding of systems engineering process, regulatory and legislative landscape
- Work with business analysts and process experts to develop compliant and efficient processes
- Identify KPIs and measures for systems engineering processes
- Work with domain product owners to define inputs to product roadmaps (process, methods, tools, training)
- Guide domain product development by supporting factory product owners and developers in systems engineering principles and practices
Skills and Experience
- Systems Engineering experience across full lifecycle (complex electrical/electronic, software or mechatronic environments)
- Application of Systems Engineering tools and techniques in real-world environments (defence, aerospace, rail or automotive preferred)
- Experience influencing business mindset and complex process change
- Strong experience with SE toolsets (IBM DOORS, Rhapsody, Catia Magic)
- Extensive requirements management aligned with Systems Engineering processes
- Experience in systems engineering process and method development
- Knowledge of system modelling, FMEA, cyber security and functional safety
Education
- Engineering Degree preferred
