An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join a specialist manufacturer renowned for innovative shading and façade solutions. Based in Warwick, this role plays a key part in streamlining operations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth delivery of materials for projects across the UK and overseas. OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a confident and experienced Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join our growing operations team. This role supports the function of the operations team identifying and nominating new processes to improve efficiency and ensure the best cost of materials.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process Improvement - review and simplify our operational processes. Lead on implementing change across the business.
  • Supplier Management - Develop relationships and negotiate optimal terms for the business.
  • Logistics and Order Management - Plan, track and expedite customer orders ensuring on time in full despatch both within the UK and overseas.
MAIN DUTIES
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance and evaluate new / proposed suppliers.
  • Driving new supplier / early supplier engagement for large and prominent projects.
  • Project support, ensuring materials are delivered on time, in full and in line with the project budget.
  • Review, oversee and implement new processes, including order processing and despatch.
  • Support Operations Manager in transitioning a new ERP system.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders when there are issues that could delay orders and proactively seek a solution.
  • Supporting Operations team by processing sales orders and purchase orders during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with Sales team on large/ high profile projects where cost and delivery are paramount to project success.
Skills
  • Fluent English
  • Secondary Language desirable
  • Proficient level of computer literacy using Microsoft Packages
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable, flexible, and capable of self-prioritising and managing tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience
  • 2 years' experience of working in procurement / supply chain environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferable experience within the building product or construction industries.
  • Import/Export experience.
Qualifications
  • CIPS Level4 (or working towards)
  • Degree (equivalent)
