What to Expect
You will be a Vehicle Integration Leader driving the development of new and existing vehicle architectures. Responsible for leading the integration of new technologies into vehicle architectures, ensuring delivery of functional and attribute targets, and acting as the voice of the customer to guide technical decision-making and arbitration.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Act as leader and technical arbitrator for whole vehicle integration, ensuring compatibility with GRID, system strategies, and functional targets
- Lead group functional integration to reduce complexity and deliver efficient technical solutions
- Collaborate with Vehicle Attribute Robustness team to ensure embedded design quality, serviceability, and manufacturing requirements
- Drive vehicle technical data progression (CAD, DV, AIMS, build, test, release) with engineering teams
- Oversee alignment and delivery of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) across virtual and physical validation phases
- Lead cross-group obstacle resolution and escalate where required
- Ensure prompt escalation of technical blockers via governance processes
- Support feasibility studies and Agile spike activities to resolve complex engineering challenges
Essential
- Strong automotive technical knowledge with experience in complex systems integration and decision-making
- Deep understanding of vehicle, system, and component design, development, and delivery
- Ability to validate technical standards, systems, and component assumptions
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Experience leading teams to solve complex technical issues using structured methodologies (e.g. 8D, Six Sigma)
- Project management experience delivering complex programme requirements
- Customer-first mindset focused on delivering dependable and high-quality outcomes
- Forward-thinking with interest in emerging technologies and industry trends
- Experience working in Agile environments and championing Agile principles
- Resilient with strong stakeholder management and ability to challenge effectively
