This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometrics, Product Design, or Design Engineering, and who are passionate about integrating user needs into innovative vehicle solutions.
- Lead the development of Human Factors requirements to ensure a premium customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Programme, and Commercial departments.
- Represent the Human Factors Attribute in vehicle development discussions, using innovative and visual methods to communicate customer impact.
- Plan and execute Human Factors assessments and gateway testing to support decision-making and issue resolution.
- Partner with colleagues to identify and resolve ergonomic issues using customer data and Human Factors science.
- Analyse customer feedback related to ergonomics and use insights to inform requirement development.
Essential:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical decision-making with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret technical data and customer feedback to inform ergonomic requirements.
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, or anthropometrics.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Experience using CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, 3D Experience).
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of whole vehicle engineering and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- A resilient and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometrics, User-Centred Design, Product Design, User Experience Design, or a related discipline.
