An exciting opportunity for an Infotainment Systems Integration Engineer to join a leading automotive engineering team in Warwickshire, supporting the integration, validation, and problem resolution of advanced infotainment systems. This role focuses on diagnostic data capture, issue triage, systems integration, and root cause analysis using tools such as Wireshark, CAN, DLT, VLAN, and SOME/IP across complex connected vehicle platforms. Ideal for candidates with experience in automotive infotainment, software integration, systems engineering, and technical problem solving within fast-paced OEM or supplier environments.

Duties:
Infotainment Engineering focus shall be on problem solving, data capture using various tools & techniques, requirements capture within the Infotainment Space. The work includes:

• Reviewing requirements to ensure the intended functionality has been delivered and where there is a deviation, flag this
• Capture critical data to support issue triage & problem solving such as DLT, Wireshark, VLAN, CAN logs, SOMEIP etc
• Work with internal and external suppliers to ensure issues are being resolved as quickly as possible
• Support investigations on critical / showstopper issues to mitigate programme delays
• Work with the Triage team to problem solve key issues across multiple layers of the infotainment system
• Apply industry best practice to resolve key issues as efficiently as possible
• As this is a fast pace environment, you will face regular ad-hoc requests and therefore must be willing to work outside your comfort zone and agreed R&Rs
• Engage with the Product Owners within the Infotainment space, delivering solutions to various problems and be a facilitator between teams

• Capture & understand Wireshark/VLAN/DLT/CAN/SOMEIP logs
• Six Sigma Problem Solving Techniques - 5-whys, Fishbone Analysis ,IS IS NOT
• Familiarity of Snapshot / Corvus Tools
• Microsoft Office Suite INC Excel / PPT / Word

• BEng in an Software/Electrical engineering discipline
• Greenbelt Certification
