The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Integration Engineer to take a leading role in the development and integration of new and existing vehicle architectures.
You will act as a key technical leader, responsible for integrating new technologies into vehicle programmes while ensuring alignment with functional targets, system strategies, and overall vehicle performance. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to act as the "voice of the customer" when making technical decisions and trade-offs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the integration of engineering solutions across the full vehicle
  • Act as the technical authority and arbitrator to ensure compatibility across systems, architectures, and strategies
  • Deliver functional and attribute targets while reducing complexity and optimising technical solutions
  • Collaborate with vehicle attribute and quality teams to ensure robust design, serviceability, and manufacturability
  • Drive progression of key technical deliverables (CAD, validation, builds, testing, and release activities)
  • Oversee delivery of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through virtual and physical validation phases
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution, ensuring timely escalation of technical risks and blockers
  • Support advanced engineering studies and agile problem-solving activities for complex challenges
  • Engage with internal teams and external partners to support delivery of strategic technologies

Key Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Strong automotive engineering background with experience across vehicle, system, and component integration
  • Proven ability to analyse complex technical interactions and make informed engineering decisions
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges (e.g. using 8D, Six Sigma or similar methodologies)
  • Project management experience delivering against complex programme milestones
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Ability to challenge constructively and build credibility across engineering teams
  • Experience working within agile environments and applying agile principles
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality vehicle experiences
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to motivate and guide teams
Desirable
  • Experience working on full vehicle programmes within OEM or Tier 1 environments
  • Exposure to advanced vehicle architectures and emerging automotive technologies
