Our client, a global leader in vehicle safety technology, is seeking an ambitious International Business Development Executive to drive growth across the Irish market. The Role

Reporting to the International Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic growth plan for Ireland. You will focus on building strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the continued expansion of an already successful customer base.

This is a highly autonomous role suited to a proactive and commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Irish market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage and grow key accounts, acting as the main point of contact
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams including technical, marketing, and product
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
  • Support the ongoing development and expansion of the existing customer base
  • Ensure compliance with relevant trade regulations and standards

About You

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong understanding of market development and sales strategy
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of the Irish market and business culture is advantageous
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel
