An exciting opportunity is available for a Procurement Specialist to join a globally recognised automotive manufacturer in Warwickshire, supporting both direct and indirect procurement activities. This role focuses on supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, order management, and supplier performance to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations. You will manage procurement processes end-to-end, working with stakeholders to deliver high-quality goods and services across the business. Ideal for candidates with strong procurement experience, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including:
- Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.)
- Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.) Procurement processes include:
- Product/Service Sourcing
- Supplier Selection
- Pricing/Terms Negotiation
- Order Processing
- Contract Administration
- Supplier Performance Management
Responsibilities typically include:
- Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
- Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
