Supply Chain Planning Manager (UK & Rest of World)

Reporting to: Group Head of Supply Chain

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead planning activities across the UK and Rest of World regions. This is a pivotal role responsible for balancing customer demand with inventory optimisation, ensuring high service levels while maintaining efficient stock performance.

You will play a key role in driving forecasting accuracy, improving planning processes, and leading a small team within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage demand and supply plans aligned with sales forecasts
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain) to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Use statistical modelling to generate forecasts where data gaps exist
  • Identify and resolve supply chain exceptions, including stock shortages and delays
  • Ensure product availability across assigned regions
  • Manage inventory performance, including stock turns, net inventory, and overall inventory health
  • Highlight and manage supply/demand risks, proposing solutions and trade-offs
  • Act as escalation point for supply and demand-related issues
  • Maintain accurate master data within ERP and planning systems
  • Lead, develop, and support direct reports
  • Produce sales history and forecasting reports
  • Support new product launches with forecast planning
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather OEM and sales forecast data
  • Assist with stock counts and respond to stock-related queries across the business

About You

  • Significant experience in Supply Chain Planning or Demand Forecasting
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and forecasting systems (e.g., BC365, EazyStock, or similar)
  • Advanced analytical capability, including tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong decision-making ability, particularly under pressure
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, results-driven mindset
  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment

Leadership & Management Skills

  • Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement track record
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align operational activity to business goals
