An exciting opportunity is available for a Partnerships Senior Account Manager to join a globally recognised automotive brand's motorsport division on a 12-month contract, supporting activities within the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. This role focuses on managing and activating high-profile commercial partnerships, delivering integrated marketing campaigns, PR, events, and hospitality across a fast-paced global motorsport environment. You will lead stakeholder engagement, oversee partner deliverables, and manage budgets while ensuring successful execution and measurable results. Ideal for candidates with strong experience in sponsorship, partnership management, and motorsport or sports marketing.

Duties:
The team competes in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and operates within a global motorsport environment.

The Motorsport division sits within the CEO / Chief of Staff function and is responsible for the strategy, planning, and delivery of successful motorsport activities across premium automotive brands.

Within this function is the Motorsport Partnerships & Sponsorships department, responsible for identifying, sourcing, activating, and managing commercial partners.

This role is a 12-month maternity cover for a Partnerships Senior Account Manager, responsible for managing existing partners and overseeing marketing activation planning, execution, and measurement.

Duties will include:

  • Management and responsibility for commercial partnership activation across the motorsport function, including marketing, communications, PR, experiential, and hospitality activity.

  • Responsibility for regular partner status and planning meetings, including facilitation of senior review meetings.

  • Development of partner marketing campaigns and associated PR/communications activity, including collaboration with internal PR and communications teams on media programmes and partner content.

  • Management of the partner brand approvals process and ongoing review procedures.

  • Delivery of partner events and hospitality, both at race events and external environments, working with the motorsport events team.

  • Annual rights tracking and management against contractual deliverables for all partners.

  • Measurement and evaluation, including partner reporting, with support from agency strategy and consultancy teams.

  • Financial management of activation programmes and rights fees, including invoicing and reporting.

  • Management of core partner rights delivery processes (e.g., asset hubs, approval processes).

  • Support of partner activations, including show cars, senior management, driver and team appearances, and asset requirements at race and non-race events.


Skills:

  • Proven experience within the sports or motorsport sponsorship industry

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Strong experience in stakeholder management

  • Experience with financial planning and budget management

  • Demonstrated success in strategic partnership campaign development

  • Strong ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive, responsive, and flexible approach, with willingness to support beyond the immediate scope of the role when required

  • Commercially astute, with experience working in a global sport or motorsport business environment

  • Highly developed negotiation skills

  • Experience in communications, PR, social media, events, or hospitality delivery

  • Strong PC and web-based systems knowledge

  • Ability to drive in the UK
