An exciting opportunity for a System Integration Lead Engineer to join a leading automotive engineering team in Warwickshire, driving the integration and delivery of customer features, software, and vehicle systems across next-generation vehicle programmes. This role focuses on systems integration, feature delivery, Agile project management, cross-functional coordination, and software deployment, ensuring successful progression from requirements definition through to vehicle sign-off. Ideal for candidates with experience in systems engineering, automotive software integration, CANalyser, Wireshark, JIRA, and complex electrical or mechatronic system delivery within OEM environments.

Duties
The Central Systems Integration Team are accountable for the integration of all customer features and functions into our customer products.
The team ensures that seamless cross-functional working happens to execute all phases of feature, systems and software delivery including:

• Creation of design requirements and specifications.
• Requirements exchange and agreement.
• Network design finalisation.
• Test case execution.
• Introduction of features and software into target electrical architectures in a planned and controlled manner.

Within the CSI team, the System Integration Lead Engineer is accountable for the maturation and delivery of customer features into current and future vehicle programmes to sign-off level in line with programme gateways.
Working across business functions, all cross-functional delivery steps required to deliver features must be understood and communicated to domains as time-based goals to coordinate integration into vehicles and test assets.
Working with delivery domains using Agile methodology, the System Integration Lead Engineer ensures that all elements of feature and system implementation occur in a timely manner, identifying threats, removing roadblocks and resolving cross-functional disconnects to enable successful delivery.
To support transparency of status across the business, the System Integration Lead Engineer is responsible for maintaining the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) within the JIRA toolset, coordinating inputs and producing the weekly consolidated Integration Report.
Together these provide stakeholders with full visibility of plans for feature and function availability and maturity, ensuring functionality for vehicles and test properties is continually understood.
The progress of the Integration Report is presented through bi-weekly showcases to company leadership and senior stakeholders, which the System Integration Lead Engineer supports.

• Manage bring-up of features and systems on test assets.
• Support the Technical Group Lead in delivery of integrated software to vehicle programmes.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional teams to solve complex integration problems, both technical and timing related.

Education

• Preferably degree qualified.

Experience

• Experience of engineering product delivery using project management techniques.
• Experience of programme and project delivery processes using Agile methodology and JIRA.
• Experience in the integration and delivery of electrical, electromechanical or software systems.
