Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Creation of TOPIx WSM content
- Conduct virtual validation of procedures using CAD
- Conduct physical validation of procedures using prototype and production vehicles/units to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and repeatability.
- Identify, communicate repair and serviceability issues to stakeholders, providing well?reasoned proposals to support effective resolutions.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve technician feedback submitted through TOPIx to continually improve WSM content and technician experience.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential:
- Knowledge of whole vehicle systems and understanding of the latest vehicle technologies
- Good communication, interpersonal skills
- Working experience of CAD 3DX, Vis Mock Up or other CAD tools
- Ability to prioritise the technician experience with discussions with stakeholders
- Qualified vehicle technician
Desirable:
- Understanding of franchised retailer workshops
- Automotive serviceability knowledge
- UK Driving licence
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
Personal profile:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair, diagnostics, and workshop processes (experience in franchised retail workshops highly desirable).
- Strong problem?solving ability and a logical, process?driven approach.
- Clear and persuasive communicator who can influence stakeholders and advocate for technician?first solutions.
- A supportive, coaching?oriented leader who can guide and upskill WSM authors.
- Confident managing workloads, setting priorities, and ensuring content quality.
