Name: Employee Relations - Specialist Location - Coventry Duties: Join an experienced and professional team who support the business with Employee Relations issues and cases focussed on discipline, grievance, absence and performance management. Responsible for managing a case load of various complex ER matters Providing support for colleagues during difficult periods Provide effective support for disciplinary actions, employee grievances, performance improvement and absence Support line managers to chair absence reviews, disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings, up to and including dismissal and appeal Use a coaching leadership style to build relationships and influence managers Make recommendations on appropriate case outcomes based on appropriate risk analysis Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders Undertake any other work as directed in connection with their role Skills: Strong attention to detail Effective organisation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and support managers Can prioritise complex caseload Customer focussed mindset Can work both independently and as part of a team Ability to work effectively under pressure with autonomy in a fast paced environment.
