Job Title: CAD Drafter Designer - 36344665 Location: Warwickshire Duties: Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CAD/CAM/CAE) work focuses on the documentation, illustration, and digital modelling of engineering designs and processes including: Assessing engineering requirements and translating into technical blueprints, drawings, layouts, and simulation models using CAD/CAM/CAE software or applying standard CAD/CAM/CAE techniques to digitize, edit, and revise engineering drawings of components, parts, and assemblies Capturing, defining and controlling of all GD&T information Capturing, defining and controlling of all significant and critical characteristics Coordinating with others to define the most suitable materials for sub-components Calculations and testing to support fixing design (adhesives, fasteners, etc) Design of parts to ensure good manufacturability Design of jigs/fixtures for assembly Customizing CAD/CAM/CAE software to model complex or unusual designs Creating digital proto-types and conducting design simulations for purposes of verifying reliability/safety and optimizing engineering processes Collaborating with product/manufacturing process engineers by recommending changes to component designs based on outcomes of digital proto-typing and design simulations May provide materials lists and cost estimates Responsibilities typically include: Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Title - Seat Belt Lead Engineer - 36321218 Location - Warwickshire The purpose of this role is to coordinate the design, development, testing and introduction of new or modified seat belt system across specific programmes. Operating in a cross-functional organisation, the Lead Engineer will report into the Chapter Leader and, where delivering on specific vehicle programmes, have a matrix report into the programme Technical Chapter Lead. The role requires the individual to deliver the commodity plan to quality, cost and time and lead the technical content and integrity of the seat belt systems across specific vehicle programmes. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Support the on-cycle squad (including direction from Tech Chapter Leader, Product Owner and Scrum Master) in order to deliver the ABR/PI aspiration, delivering value in each sprint, aligned to the relevant Programme Group vision and epics.
